Tooth Preparation: To prepare for a dental bridge, we will focus on the adjacent teeth on both sides of the gap. These teeth will be gently prepared by removing a small amount of enamel. This step creates space for the placement of the bridge crowns onto these teeth.
Step 3
Impression and Temporary Bridge: After tooth preparation, impressions of your teeth are taken and sent to a dental laboratory, where a custom dental bridge will be fabricated. Meanwhile, a temporary bridge may be placed to protect the prepared teeth and maintain your appearance and dental function.
Step 4
Bridge Placement: Once the custom bridge is ready, you will return to the dentist for its placement. We will ensure that the bridge fits properly, make any necessary adjustments, and permanently cement it onto the prepared teeth or implants.
Step 5
Bite Adjustment and Final Evaluation: After the bridge is placed, we will check your bite to ensure it feels comfortable and natural. We will also evaluate the aesthetics and make any necessary adjustments to achieve an optimal fit and appearance.
